What can I send for mail-in sharpening?
Frank’s Industrial Sharpening accepts carbide saw blades, router bits and CNC tooling, drill bits and end mills, planer and chipper knives, paper knives, and cold saw and band saw blades, plus blades that need repair or retipping. Not sure about a tool? Send a photo with your box request and we’ll tell you.

How long does mail-in sharpening take?
Most orders are sharpened within 2 weeks of arriving at the shop, then shipped straight back to your address. Every item is inspected and wax-coated before the return box is sealed, and a rep confirms your order and pricing before your box ships, so there are no surprises.

How to Pack Your Blades
The Frank's box does most of the work; here's how to load it so everything arrives safely.
Circular blades:
Stack blades flat with the provided separators between them; teeth never touch steel.
Straight knives:
Edge guard on, strapped to the backing board.
Small tooling
Into the small-parts container, one layer, no loose rattle.
Seal and ship:
Prepaid label on top, drop at any carrier location.
