How much does resharpening cost compared to buying new?

Our rule is simple: a professionally resharpened blade or tool should always cost you significantly less than buying new. And since a good blade can be resharpened two, three, or more times before it's truly done, the savings stack up with every cycle. One blade purchase can deliver several lifetimes of cutting before you ever spend on a replacement.

What if my blade isn't worth sharpening?

Then we won't sharpen it. Every tool that comes into our shop gets inspected first. If sharpening and tooth replacement doesn't pencil out against the cost of buying new, we call you, explain why, and send it back — or scrap it for you if you decide to replace it. You'll never pay us to sharpen something that should have been retired. That's our rule, not a pitch.

Damaged teeth don't necessarily end a blade's life either — we retip broken or worn teeth to extend it further. When we inspect your blade, we'll tell you how much life it has left, so you can plan replacements instead of getting surprised by them.
